Halloween Traditions?
What are your Halloween traditions (if you have any)? I know MIL made chicken soup every Halloween, but that's about it. I don't eat chicken soup so I won't be continuing that tradition  Does anyone care to share theirs?

We get pizza every year for halloween, we make halloween sugar cookies and frost them with orange frosting and the kids decorate them, we go to our Aunts for Trick or Treating, and the kids do a craft I usually order from Oriental Trading. We usually order a decorate a pumpkin stickers or a foam pumpkin. Then the night is ended with hot chocolate, a bowl of popcorn or chips and The Great Pumpkin, then pumpkin kisses from mommy and bed time.

what a fun day! How old is your DS? I can't wait for my DD to be older so I can do this!

After spending time at my parents house we go to my In Laws and go trick-or-treating with DD's cousins and have dinner there. I look forward to it every year!

There are some we do before and some on the day. We always carve our pumpkins on the night that Charlie Brown is on. Then I take the seeds and make roasted pumpkin seeds. Today, I always make pumpkin pasta and green gobble ems for dinner. We sometimes have mummy dogs for lunch when Halloween is on the weekend, but we ate those for dinner last night.

Do you mind sharing your pumpkin pasta & green gobble em's (what they are exactly and/or the recipe)? I love the pumpkin seeds, my mom used to do that when we were little.

My mom ( this Year I started the same traditions with ds) would make devils food cupcakes with orange icing. She made pizzas on english muffins and we had orange soda.
