Hall to rent
Anyone know any halls that rent out their space and tables and chairs and we provide everything else? In western Suffolk. Trying to plan my dd's first bday and we aren't looking to spend a fortune. She's a late Apr baby so don't know if it'll be too cold to have people outside. My house isn't big enough for the 55-70 people we want to Invite.

Re: Hall to rent
Its not really western suffolk but the polish american hall in port jefferson has a nice big space, chairs & tables, you have to bring everything else and they are affordable. http://portjeffpolishhall.com/

Re: Hall to rent
Maybe the Amity Harbor Beach & Civic hall? That's not too far from the Babylon area

Re: Hall to rent
There's a Hibernian hall in Babylon, a K of C in Deer Park and I think an Elks Club in West Islip. We went to a party at a K of C on 5th Ave in Bay Shore that was nice too.

American Legion hall on Union Blvd in West Islip, across the street from the fire department. Went to a first birthday there, really nice space.

The VFW hall in Sayville is nice. I've been to several parties there. The room is big and plain, so you need to really decorate. They will also provide soda, or beer, wine, soda, or do a cash liquor bar if you want. They have different packages, but you cater your own food.

My inlaws have done parties at the Hibernian hall in Babylon. It's very nice and affordable. And Southards Pond park is right across the street if it's warm enough for pictures!

Re: Hall to rent
I don't have any suggestions as I don't know much about Suffolk but I wanted to let you know that Communions start in late April so you may want to REALLY start looking soon as it gets harder and harder to find someplace.

Re: Hall to rent
we had DD baptism party and 1st bday party at the Pavilion on the lake in Ronkonkoma. Very reasonable for Islip residents. And it was a nice size room with a kitchen.
