hairballs?
is there a home remedy I can try, or do I need to call the vet? Phoebe is constantly dry hacking, poor thing.

They have hairball formula food. You can also get medicine at most pet stores. It's a syrup like medicine. It works on my cats.

We used to give my cat "Laxatone"...when I was younger I used to call it Laxacrap. It usually helped and the cat took it from our finger. Good luck!
