Hair towels?
I hate using a full-sized bath towel to dry my hair--and hand towels are just too small.
I was thinking of getting Turbie Twists, or the Sephora microfiber hair towel...but does anyone use and recommend them? Not recommend them? Have any other suggestions??

Re: Hair towels?
I don't find the Turbie Twists as absorbant as a regular towel. I actually have a few smaller towels that are between the size of a handtowel and a regular bath towel (about half the size of a bath towel) -- they work perfectly. I actually found in a kids section with kid's bathroom things -- obviously they need smaller towels.

Re: Hair towels?
I have the Turbie Twist and a few things like it. I used to get them as gifts when my hair was very long (it still is long but it was super long and everyone thought it was the perfect gift for me). I do not think that they are anything special. I would get some nice smaller towels if you want something just for your hair.

Re: Hair towels?
i love my turbie twists!
i find my hair dries faster & much more smooth
on days I keep hitting the snooze button, i will use it all morning while getting ready for work, and then 'blow dry' on my morning commute (using the heat in my car)

Re: Hair towels?
I found that the Turbie twists work well if you use a regular towel first (just for like 5 min). My hair dries much faster this way!

Re: Hair towels?
I use a microfiber hair towel - it has a button & loop so it stays put. It really makes a difference. I think the turbie ones are a waste of money - they are the equivalent of thin cheap towels.

Re: Hair towels?
My old stylist told me (and then I saw on one of the beauty shows on TV ) that cotton T shirt is the best thing to dry your hair with, bc regular towel absorbs all the moisture and hair comes out frizzy and dry, by cotton absorbs just enough moisture , leaving your hair softer and smoother and more manageable. I have tried using a cotton Tshirt (or my DD's old , thin cotton blanket) and def have seen a difference, my hair is wavy and if I want a natural look-just wash and air dry- this is the best way to get my hair to look nice. but I don't do it every time I wash my hair, most times I use a very thin, cotton towel.

Re: Hair towels?
Aquis makes my favorite hair towels. I HATE using full sized towels for my hair--they're so big and heavy.
