Hair Salons in Brooklyn

Anyone know of a good salon or hairdresser they would recommend in the Brooklyn area?

Places in southern Brooklyn would be great, but I'm open to any suggestions.

I use Paul at Pilo Arts in Bay Ridge

Also I heard good things about Salon Gio in dyker heights

I have to preface this...I'm insane about my hair,I have ultra curly hair and spent years finding someone to be able to cut it without making me look like a poodle...plus I ALWAYS wear it straight so I needed someone that could cut it either wet curly envisioning it straight or straight and dry...
I've spent a lot of $$$$$ on my hair, and the BEST haircut I've gotten is at a small non fancy salon on Ave U right off of Ocean Parkway called Dimmagio's by a girl named Robin...I've gone to allllll the salons in the city and spent an arm and a leg and I spend 45 for my haircut with Robin and LOOOOOVE it OK, rave over...LOL

I just wanted to say that this is the place my DH told me to check out. He was like, I see this place on Ave U all the time, why don't you check it out and I totally brushed him off. Too funny. I have to tell him about this.

Thats really funny, seriously I walked in and got freaked bc my Mother in law goes there and there were all these older ladies getting typical teased do's but then I saw a bunch of young girls come in and my sister in law goes there and honestly the best cut ever!!! and my hair is NOT easy to cut AT ALL!!!!
