Hair salon...... WWYD?

There's a new girl at my salon who washes hair and she washed mine the last THREE times I got my hair cut...... I never encountered a BAD hair wash person until her! Absolutely terrible! She doesn't scrub at all, she basically just pats my hair and then rinses it. The worst part is I will get my hair cut and blown out and that very night, my scalp will start to itch and it looks greasy by the next morning! (this doesn't happen when it's washed properly)

I keep wanting to say something but at the last minute I feel bad I love going there for my haircuts and I just don't want to be confrontational. Of course I would address HER directly, not go over her head and complain to her boss!!

What would you ladies say... "can you please scrub my hair this time?" Honestly I just feel like reaching my hands back there and washing my hair myself!

I would just say that I have oily hair and if you can please wash and rinse it good .... or that if the shampoo and conditioner isnt rinsed out well you get a reaction... lol hope that helped.

I would absolutely say something to her! It doesn't have to sound rude. What the PP said is perfect. After you said it, make sure that she does do things they way it should be. If you feel she is not getting things right, say something again right then and there, while she is working on you!

It's like I used to tell my Dh before he found his current hairdresser: INstead of complaining to me afterwards, just say something. I mean, you are RIGHT THERE!

Don't let this ruin your salon experience!

I would say something to management.

If she does that to you she's doing it to everyone and something needs to change.

Coming from her boss may fix the total problem.

This way, when you go next time you won't have to remind her. If she does it well next time, tell her boss so she can get the positive reinforcement.
