Hair falling out?
Hi ladies.
Quick question. Is your hair falling out, even though you're taking prenatals? I got my hair done today and my hairdresser stated that my hair is. I know we're supposed to lose 100 strands or so a day. Is she making me more paranoid?
I'm thinking of switching prenatals since this didn't happen to me with my first pregnancy.
Losing my mind and hair?

mine did in the beginning, then at about 20 or so weeks, started getting really nice.. andnot falling out.. as did my nails.. it has to do with the hormones or something like that..

I was noticing a lot of hair coming out when I combed it in the beginning of my pregnancy even with prenatals. Now I'm heading into my 2nd trimester and im not losing as much.

Yes me!  I never had this with my first. I'm 14 weeks and my hair is falling out so much! Every time I wash my hair I see it and drives me crazy

IT was much worse in the beginning but has significantly slowed down. I am dreading the postpartum hair loss

I generally don't lose any while pregnant and then post partum is just    Im surprised I have hair left lol

Seems like it will be stop sooner or later.
Schmora: after my first pregnancy my doc had me take prenatals for like a month or two while my body adjusted to not being pregnant. Maybe that can help.
 for all of those that are going through this.

Get your iron checked, you could be anemic....as,soon as I started the iron supplements the hair loss practically stopped.
