Hair Extentions
Is anyone familiar with them? I have a few questions: I think I want the clip in ones (they are for a wedding I am in)Are those the least damanging ones? I do not want them glued into my hair. Also do they dye them to the color of your hair?( I have highlights.) How long do they last? How much do they cost? And last, Can someone recommend where to get them done?
Thanks in advance!!!!

Re: Hair Extentions
i just spoke to my hair dresser abou tthis for my wedding. she suggested to but the tracks from (i believe) center island beauty supply. in commack next to ny sports club. and she said make sure to get the human hair. they should be about $60
she said the price would be just alittle more than an updo. their base updo it 65-75.
she would tease my hair and somehow pin them in (unclear about this) and then after the wedding she said she would sew the hair onto a clip so i could reuse them.
the salon is cactus in mayfair shopping center (commack) and the stylists name is lindsay. HTH!!

I wear clip ins all the time. They are not damaging at all.
Check out Put on Pieces (POP). They sell them at Ulta. These are synthetic hair so they are less expensive but you can't dye them.
I found a color that matched my hair so exactly that nobody ever knows it's fake...

POP also has REAL Hair. I have them and they are clip in and they are great! I haven't used them in a while because my hair got really long, but when I had them in you couldn't tell at all! Best of all you can wash, curl, blow them!

Yes, they are awesome. I just didnt' want to spend the money, but it's a good investment. I LIVE for my clip ins... they really have changed my life... I have horrible thin hair, not a lot of it, it never grows long, etc. These make a world of difference for me.

Go to Ulta and check them out. If they don't have a color that matches, you can go online and order them too from extensions.com They will even send you a sample wheel so you can match it up at home before ordering.
