hair extensions..
has anyone had them?
thoughts? prices? where you went? how long did they last?
i'm always curious about them...not for length so much, but for body....my hair was amazing when i was pregnant, it was full, thick, and shiny...and now, almost 2 years later, it's long, shiny, but really thin..
i'm probably to cheap to ever get them, but i can be swayed.

Re: hair extensions..
If you want an inexpensive alternative try the clip in ones. Put on Pieces makes them and Jessica Simpson also has a line. They sell them at most Ulta's and you can also buy them online at extensions.com I wear them all the time and nobody knows that they are fake who doesn't know me. As long as you get a really good color match you are good.
The best part is they don't wreck your own hair like some real extensions can and they come in and out whenever you want. Not to mention the price!

Re: hair extensions..
My sister has done extensions (she lives is Miami where apparently everyone gets them). You have to get them done at a very good salon -- she onced tried to cheap out and the quality was horrible and she had to get them redone at the better place. They run her upwards of 800-1K. Gulp. They last for a few months, but you have to be careful not to wash your hair everyday because then you loosen the extensions and have to get them tightened up frequently.
