Had to convert DD's crib to daybed last night....
We're having work done on the house, so DD will be getting a new bedroom in a few weeks, and her current bedroom has a wall missing (it's covered with blankets for now). We were hoping to keep her in crib-mode until the move to the new room, and give her her "big girl" bedroom and bed at the same time.
Last night, after DW put DD down to sleep, DD climbed out of her crib 3 times, and slipped around the blanket wall, and was wandering around the construction on the other side of her "wall"....
So, at 9:30pm last night, I'm converting her bed to day-bed mode, and putting up sheets of drywall to make a wall that she can't get past.
Surprisingly, she only got up once last night (that we heard).
DS has a day-bed, which DD loves, so I think she was used to it, and thrilled that she has the same kind of bed as her brother.
