Had my Dr. P consult!
It went very well! My RPL bloodwork came back normal. I do have MTHFR unfortunately so he put me on extra folic acid. He said my amh is low- .76 but my hormone levels- FSH and ES were normal so he is very happy about this! He said most likely IVF is a good route for us but IUI is not out of the question. He is really positive that I can get pregnant-- it's all about the correct meds to get my egg count higher and quality up. Basically, we do not know how well I will respond. With 50mg clomid, I always produced over 2 follies and on 100mg, I had 3 so we think I may respond good- basically it is up in the air. So my repeat chemicals can be due to my egg quality. However, he said with my history of adhesions and scar tissue, I may have something going on preventing the babies from implanting to the uterine lining. We are doing another water sono and lining check in the next two weeks to rule out a lining issue. Hopefully we will get approved for IVF this week and begin next cycle! If not, we will do three more IUI's with inj and then start IVF in Jan. So overall, I really feel optimistic that he knows my situation and can guide me the right way to increase my chances of having a baby! I already started on the micronized DHEA which he believes improves both quantity and quality in girls with my low amh. He did say that he is going to stim me the same as he would a 40yr old to get me to respond and that made me kind of nervous. I am dreading getting OHSS. Hoping next week gives me better news! Thanks for listening
