I just had my central AC unit upgraded with the company http://airfresco.net/default.aspx.

The owner of this company used to work for my friend's ex-husband AC company but left there and started his own. I had about 6 other companies come to give an estimate but he was the least expensive company by about $10,000. We had a 4 ton 13 seer installed (16 seer was about $2000 more)

This is what he did
1. Removed old ductwork (in attic) and installed new ductwork and air distribution system to existing register
2. New wiring and piping
3. Moved condensing unit to side of house from rear
4. New air handler
5. Install additional supply run and register to 4 other rooms
6. Relocate supply run from garage to laundry room
7. Relocate refrigerant copper line from existing location.


Everything was good with installation but took 5 days due to they did not show up until 1 and left at 7. He is a very small company but if you do not mind the job taking a little longer than he is your man (he works in Jamaican time)
