Gym Face
I have my gym face on and it is not pretty. It looks like puberty threw up on me.
I used to get a few breakouts once a month . Now my chin is covered in new pimples constantly and my forehead has red bumps all over it.
I noticed the change when I started going to the gym on a regular schedule. I wash my face before I go to take my makeup off and I wash it again after in the shower.
Did anyone else have this problem? What did you do?

Re: Gym Face
I have this problem with my shoulders and my forehead.
If I do my nightly regimen with all the acne products I have, my skin looks a lot better in the morning. I just don't have the energy to do it every night.
I also know that drinking a lot of water through out the day will help with that. I have a really hard time with this one because I am never really thirsty.

Re: Gym Face
I did. To me it could be 2 things: Washing too much and your skin is getting irrated or pores getting clogged from dirt/sweat. Try using a towel during your work outs to keep face dry or a sensitive cleanser. I use Nutrogena face cloths that remove my make up. I do it on the way to the gym from work. Leaves my face clean and soft not tight or dry. My face has been the most clear now then ever. I use towel during work out.

Re: Gym Face
I am convinced that too much washing could be bad. I think soap strips your skin of its "good" oils.
Anyway I get weird skin irritations, I think it is from excessive running. Not sure but I started using soaps from Lush (as a recommendation from Gemmifer). They dont lather but do clean your skin and I noticed a BIG improvement. I use a pink one and she also recommended a black one. They are a bar and I just rub it on my face in the shower, leave it for a minute and wipe with a washcloth. I also moisturize at least 2-3 times a day. Things have gotten better. I never was a zit head but more or less red blemishes and irritations.
ALSO - I went to the dermotologist and got glycoilic acid and retin A...bad bad move. Dried me out SOOO bad and made it WORSE! I quit that but do use Retin A like once a week to help with wrinkes.
