Has anyone been successful in using Guardsman ?

We got the coverage about 8 years ago when we bought our couches and we have a lot of wear and tear. One rip from our move and other just general wear. I currently cover it in a blanket and don't worry about it too much.

I remember when we bought the coverage, they said it would replace any damage for any reason and I thought it was forever? The store we purchased from has gone out of business.

Has anyone actually filed a claim and how did it work?

Other post on leather furniture from Bob's got me thinking.....

Re: Guardsman

We have it on our LaZBoy couch and sleeper sofa and have been very happy with it. With a dog and two potty training boys, we have our service guy come almost every month to steam-clean them. We have found that it was a wise choice...

Re: Guardsman

We have it on various pieces of furniture & it figures the 1 thing we need to use it for (getting a new mattress pad) the company who issued it went out of business. We have the certificate guardsman sent us when we purchased it, & yet now guardsman needs the receipt stating the purchaseChat Icon the company never itemized it & they are out of business! PISSED..it's like a $5k+ mattress!

We have it and make sure you read the fine print - you.have to file a claim within a certain time period of the incident. We got coffee tables from Bobs that scratch easily.so we waited to get it fixed all at once, not realizing the restrictions and our claim was denied.
