That's like mine.. except minus sour cream and plus a chopped tomato (seeds removed) and a little bit of fresh jalapeno. I also probably do a little (lot) more garlic.

Re: Guacamole
I have a bunch of ingredients so I was thinking of jazzing it up a little with some chopped tomato, some chopped jalapeno, cilantro... so you guys use garlic instead of onions? had no idea. But I've never actually made it before!

Re: Guacamole
I just googled the Dos Caminos one! it looks right up my alley and I can use all the ingredients I have! thanks for the tip; I love their guac (that's all I love there, besides their drinks).
Recipe: Guacamole Dos Caminos I ngredients 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro leaves 2 teaspoons finely chopped white onion 2 teaspoons minced jalapeño or Serrano chilies, seeds and membranes removed, if desired 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt 2 large ripe avocados, preferably California Haas, peeled and seeded 2 tablespoons cored, seeded, and finely chopped plum tomatoes (1 small tomato) 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lime juice
Preparation In a medium size bowl, use the back of a spoon to mash 1 tablespoon of the cilantro, 1 teaspoon onion, 1 teaspoon of minced chile, and 1/2 teaspoon salt together against the bottom of the bowl.
Add the avocados and gently mash them with a fork until chunky-smooth. Fold the remaining cilantro, onion, and chile into the mixture. Stir in tomatoes and lime juice, taste to adjust the seasonings, and serve with a basket of warm corn tortilla chips.

I use garlic and red onion, but I love to throw as much as possible into mine, haha.

Thats it and its the best. I use a little extra cilantro and a little extra jalapeno too bc I like it hottttttttt!

Re: Guacamole
4 avocados juice from 1 - 2 limes 1 jalapeno (seeded and de-veined) chopped up very fine 1 small onion (red or white) chopped up very fine garlic salt If I have fresh garlic, I will use 1 clove chopped very fine.
**I do not use cilantro because I hate having to buy a whole bunch and not using the whole thing! If I have tomatoes, I will add them in too.

Re: Guacamole
I never follow a recipe for guac. lol. But i mash the avocados and throw in kosher salt and black to taste. a clove of minced garlic. a small amount of chopped onion. Chopped tomato. And cilantro. Then I squeeze in juice from half a lime. It varies depending on what i have on hand as well. Like soetimes I don't have the onion or I have to use garlic salt instead of garlic.
