Whenever I am in the company of my family, they make me feel like a fat cow. My mom keeps asking if my weight gain is normal. My dad feels the need to tell me that he sees pregnant women at the gym all the time and that I should work out. My grandma called me chubby about 11 times tonight - granted, she is 90 yrs old and senile, but still!!! I feel like I should hide out until I give birth!!

My friends and coworkers tell me I look great - I am starting to think they are lying to me and just trying to make me feel good and I really look like Shamu. I wish people would just not say anything sometimes!!!!

Sometimes its not just family members.. but strangers too... When I was having DD, one of the office secretaries used to always tell me i was getting really round, getting big.. etc....

I wanted to say.. thats because Im pregnant, whats your excuse? But I knew better..

I feel your pain! So many people make obnoxious comments, but it's the worst when it comes from family. My mom made comments all through my 1st. This time I prepared and said outright it was hurtful, so she's trying... My mother-in-law, on the other hand, asks if I'm SURE I'm not having twins...
