Grrr... New laptop...Windows 7 ?

So on my old computer I had a program (I think it was a windows program) that when I uplaoded pics, it sorted them all out by the date I took them in my camera and I could see which ones I uploaded already. Then it would auto-create a folder titled "Oct 2010" and all the pics I uplaoded from October would go in there in order.

Now, with windows 7...it doesnt have the program ( on my old laptop when I plugged in my card reader, it would be one of the autoplay options) and I hate the program that it on here to do that. It creates all separate folders for each upload and doesnt tell me when the pic was taken.

Also, when I "turn" the pics, they don't stay turned. WHen I uplaod to FB they auto turn, but like when I try to uplaod to an album on LIF they are still sideways!

Someone HELP. I take WAY to many pics to have to deal with this!!!!! I need something SIMPLE.

So, windows explorer has an atribute called date photo taken...you have right click on the bar and select what you want to see. that will allow you to sort by that field.

now for autoplay, you may want to try microsoft live essinistals. (i have it but don't use it)

this should hopefully give you some autoplay feature you were looking for.

As for previewing pictures and saving, there is a save button after you "tweak" a picture or just click on next picture, it should quickly save it before going to the next photo
