GRRR Mini DH vent
He has been awesome lately, working two jobs, spending time with Christopher on his off days and hours, helping with stuff....
BUT
Christopher crying when I leave the room and him pushing the bottle out of his mouth and any else that he does that isn't perfect isn't b/c *I* spoil him
Everytime I say "Why does he do xyz?" DH answers "Because you spoil him"

Re: GRRR Mini DH vent
I've told DW numerous times that I fully expect DC to not be overly affectionate towards me, like they are with her for the first year. I work, and even when I'm home, DW is the primary caregiver. It's not "spoiling", it's just taking care of DC's needs. DS likes me now, and DD is getting used to me because she walks around a lot, and we can start to interact with each other. I personally don't think it's possible to spoil a child that can't talk, or has very little understanding about needs versus wants.

Re: GRRR Mini DH vent
It's not spoiling. You spend so much time with DS that's it's almost a given that he would look for you.
DS does the same. Yesterday, we visited family and friends. A friend of DH took him in her arms. While he did not cry, he was looking for me. I am his comfort zone. DH interacts with him at night when he comes home. I make sure he holds him but it's not "mommy". Mommy is everything right now. We spend so much time with them. We are comfort, provider, etc...
