Groves in nails

I was bored and looking at my nails and noticed these vertical lines/grooves on them. Does anyone know what this is from. I know the white spots on nails means an iron deficiency but can't think what this could be

I believe it's due to vitamin deficiency's but I'm not sure which one....I plan to ask my doc at my next visit if I can take biotin supplements since my hair needs help lol (I have a medical issue that messes with my hair). I read too much biotin isn't good while pregnant, but apparently it's very common to be low in biotin during pregnancy, so maybe my doc will ok supplementing. You should ask yours too! Biotin helps your hair & nails... Good luck!
