I think the concept is cute...but it's definitely not a place for babies. You won't be able to relax for fear the bigger kids will trample your baby. Plus, when I saw the pics and heard the name...I was expecting a cafe...but it was more like "an area you can bring YOUR OWN food to eat." maybe I missed something but the only food I saw when I was there was a soda machine...not even the faint smell of coffee in the air. When I think "Cafe" I think coffee and baked goods...pastries, breakfast and lunch.

They do state that anyone under 2 must be in the play area with an adult ... While I agree it isn't really cafe like I thought it was a cute place and dd really liked it when we went it she was just over 1

I agree..wasn't all that impressed...it was very crowded...not very roomy and relaxing..Not sure if I went on a bad day..I was also thinking I was going to get something to eat/munch and drink while I was there...but didn't really see that
and I took my 3 yr old and I felt like he was too old for it..I think it is more for 1-2 yr olds! Glad I went when my 4.5 yr old was in school

We've gone there a number of times, starting when my son was a little under a year I think. Never had any issues and never was worried about him getting trampled by older kids. I was right with him the whole time, so there was really no opportunity for that, nor were there many kids or very big kids. They cap the play area at a certain number of kids to avoid overcrowding. They have a small refrigerator case where they sell little sandwiches and things. They also sell snacks like chips and stuff. And they have a small coffee maker so they always sell coffee as well. IMO, it's the perfect play place for young kids- most of the other places we've been to for open play get a little too crazy and don't have a lot to really interest young kids.
