Honestly, we eat bacteria everyday....and people are dropping dead around us....

That's gross...
I never put lemons in my drinks though. Now I know not to accept a lemon in my drink, I don't want someone's dirty @ss bacteria in my drink.

Many bars put the pretzels or peanuts back in the bag at the end of the night & do not wash the bowl

FH worked on one of the interactive off broadway shows that served food. He would have to scoop the cream cheese out of the bowl with his hands, put it away and then put it back the next day

I didn't watch the video, but I can imagine what's in it.
If you're afraid of what goes on in restaurants, then you're better off not going out to eat ever.
Maybe the glasses are dirty..maybe the dishes aren't properly washed..maybe the silverware has some nasty bacteria in it..maybe the meat's undercooked or been sitting out for a while..going out to eat is always a gamble.

In my college days I worked in a very high end country club on LI.
We would serve butter in those nice shapes on the table.
Every night we would take all of the used butter, collect it and put in through an icing bag. We must have reused butter 30 or 40 times. GROSS

While I agree its gross, it's not just the lemons. It's going to be everywhere, right down to the dirty water cloth they wipe your table down with. Just something to think about.

I hate it when they put a lemon in my drink. Not just bc of the bacteria but I never put lemons in my drinks at home so why would I want them when I go out!!
I always forget to ask for "no lemon", I don't even think about it. It seems so absurd to me to put a lemon in with a soda.
