Grinding teeth? HELP!
EEK!
Loey is getting 4 teeth on top and I think so far 2 have broken through. He has 2 teeth on the bottom already.
Yesterday, he started grinding his teeth! The sound just drives me bonkers and is like nails on a chalkboard for me! Is there anything I can do to stop him? Is this just a phase (please please say yes!)

OMG! I was just goint to post this.
DD is doing the same thing! She cut her 2 bottom teeth a few months ago and is now cutting her top 2. She started griniding them a few days ago and it drives me crazy!! It also sounds painfully uncomfortable 
ETA: when I hear her doing it I usually try to distract her with a toy or teething toy so she can chew on that.

DD did this as well and it drove me insane! But she eventually stopped grinding her teeth. Its a phase! Yay for more teeth!!!

DS also does this. Drives me insane and he has had his 4 top teeth since late july. I try to distract him so that he is not doing this. I thought I was the only one going thru this! LOL!

I just posted the same thing about a month ago. It was driving me crazy - plus I was afraid he would break a tooth.
It was just a phase and after a week or two he stopped and I haven't heard him do it again.

DD just got her top teeth and was doing this for a few days... drove me CRAZY!!!!!! It's like nails on a chalkboard for me. She stopped though... whew!

DS only did it for a few days last week too. Thank god it didnt last long at all. I kept trying to distract him with toys and stuff too.

OMG - DS is doing this all the time now. I never like to give him a paci outside of his crib, but lately I find myself shoving one in his mouth to stop the grinding! Ugh.... I hope it stops soon! He's had top and bottom teeth for months now, so I don't know why it started now.

Charlie was a grinder everytime new teeth cut. it's just a curiosity thing (at least in her case) & something they outgrow. To distract her i would give her a teether...
