Grilled Chicken

I always see people listing grilled chicken with salad or in a wrap for lunch. My chicken always comes out dry!

How do you prepare your grilled chicken?

Do you make a bunch in advance and freeze it?

Which brand do you buy?

Re: Grilled Chicken

Honestly, I use the precooked "short cuts" a lot. They aren't dry and they come in different flavors---honey, italian, roasted, white wine garlic, etc.

I use the pre-cut as well. I try to buy them on sale.

Re: Grilled Chicken

I brown mine on each side over high heat, then turn it down to low, cover it and let it simmer for awhile - maybe 20 mins?

Re: Grilled Chicken

we make balsalmic chicken...

we use one can of fat free cream of chicken soup combined with 1/2 cup balsalmic vinegar and a little water. Mix it up. Put salt, pepper and basil on the chicken cutlets and pour the marinade over them! So yummy!

I use the pampered chef bar pan (stoneware), spray with olive oil, season and bake for about 20 minutes. Comes out perfect, no need to flip either

Re: Grilled Chicken

We use a cast iron grill pan and sprinkle with blackening seasoning. You just have to make sure you don't overcook it.

Re: Grilled Chicken

I buy Nature's Promise chicken tenders... I will season with olive oil and salt (or whatever kind of seasoning) and use the George Foreman.

I am always surprised at how juicy they stay when I cook them on that grill.

I get organic chicken from Trader Joes & split them. I use my outdoor BBQ. Even in the snow Chat Icon I grill them for the week on Sundays.

I use regular chicken breasts. The thin might have a tendency to dry out more since they cook more quickly, I think?
