Great Wolf Lodge - Any packing tips?
We are going next weekend (Wahoo!) with our girls (ages 3 and 5). Any suggestions of what we should bring with us to make the experience go as smoothly as possible? Do the girls need shoes in the water, or just crocs/sandles to get to and from the room?

Re: Great Wolf Lodge - Any packing tips?
We were just there last weekend. We just jad crocs which worked out fine. I wish I had packed more bathing suits because it took a long time for them to dry, and no one wanted to put back on wet bathing suits. The towels they provide are really rough and thread bare. I wish I had packed our own beach towels.
I also wish I had packed some breakfast food - cereal milk etc. Fod there is expensive and with a mini fring in the room, we could have utilized it for breakfast.
Enjoy! We had lots of fun!

Flip flops....
Your own beach towels....
Several bathing suits...
Breakfast and Lunch food items and snacks....(There is a fridge and microwave in the rooms..food at the lodge, while good, is expensive)
Something for the kids and you to wear through the halls to and from the Water Park...

Plenty of swimsuits Hooded towels to dress back to go back to room Crocs Bring your own snacks. Kids will want to eat all day. We packed our own breakfast for DS, water bottles and snacks. We brought DS his own pillow so he will feel like home to go to sleep. Bring a separate bag (with swimsuit and change of clothes) in case you cannot check in your room right away. You will want to still use the waterpark so prepare a separate bag with quick access to swimsuits

Re: Great Wolf Lodge - Any packing tips?
We just got back yesterday from 3 days there.
They do have washers/dryers downstairs for clothes..but we wished we had brought more swim suits/comfy clothes.
We packed jeans and such but found ourselves really just hanging out in sweat pants most of the time.
Flip flops for the whole Family.
Garbages bags to bring wet clothes home in.
Lots of snacks and drinks...

Re: Great Wolf Lodge - Any packing tips?
We just got back today. I would bring t-shirts for when you are inside. It is hot. I had three bathing suits for the kids and 2 for me. I would bring your own towels. They were really rough this time. We brought juice boxes and snacks. If you can call and add the breakfast package to your stay as it reduces the cost of breakfast to $10 per person instead of $26 per person over age 3. Three and under eat for free. Also tell them you want to be able to charge to your ID bracelet. I did not do that and it was a PIA to walk back in a wet suit with the kids to the room, get money and then go back for food. Have a great time! We loved it.
