The funniest new book we’ve read recently is “Interrupting Chicken and the Elephant of Surprise” My 5 and 9 yr olds loved it.

I read Stephanie's Ponytail to my second graders yesterday and they roared with laughter. Not a new book, but definitely a crowd pleaser.

my boys are 2nd grade and pre-k, and they like "What the Dinosaurs Did last night"... the pictures are good, too for a read aloud

They’re not new, but some of our faves are Goldilocks & the Three Dinosaurs, Duck in the Fridge, Arnie the Donut

In kindergarten I read the day the crayons quit and in first grade I read the day the crayons came home
Second grade I did the book with no pictures
