Granite at Ikea

I heard that Ikea is now doing granite counter tops I was wondering if anybody had these and if so could you please let me know a little bit about your experience...how it works, etc? Also pics would be great.

i was peeking around last time we were at ikea...it seemed like the prices weren't that much cheaper and they carried the popular/common granites - kind of like what you would see at Home Depot...not like if you went to a granite yard...

we were looking to see if they were cheaper but i still think going to a granite place would be the cheapest b/c no middle man...but i haven't bought granite so i'm not sure...

Hmm...that is good to know...I am guessing that they added this as an option to save people a step when designing their kitchens...I asked because I only found out when I saw that my local Ikea was having a sale on two of their granite color choices and I didn't even know that had that as an option...wonder if they will run sales on other colors as well at some point.

I went there a few weeks ago - I still found the granite to be expensive there

They had other options though that had a similar look to granite for less money - can't remember what it was called though...
