Grand Turk
Has anyone been here? I'm going on a cruise with my best friend (whom I haven't seen in 12 years) and we'll only be on the island for one day only.
What are the best things to do? (Note I don't think I'll be snorkeling or anything like that)
I'm definitely going to Margaritaville though, lol.

Grand Turk
I looove grand Turk. There are a bunch of stores- Ron Jon, diamonds international, del sol- the usual touristy stores. Then you walk towards margaritaville and there's a large wind-y pool with lounge chairs surrounding it, which are free. Past the pool is the beach, also with free lounge chairs. Between the pool and the beach is the flow rider- simulated surfing. There are also cabanas to rent but imo they're not worth it. We did snorkeling the last time we were there but they have lots of other excursions. I love it because you don't have to spend money if you don't want to. I do recall reading about a great beachfront restaurant/bar if you walk down the beach a little ways.
ETA: jacks shack is the restaurant.
