Graduation Gift amount?
What would you say is a nice High School graduation gift for our nephew? He's SUCH a good kid. We're not swimming in money, but we want to do the right thing by him. His party is at their house this weekend. Me, my husband and our 3-year old are going.
Is $150 check good?

I actually think its too much, he graduated high school not a masters program. IMO that amount is plenty, above and beyond what I would give at that age
ps its not about him being a good kid the two are not equal.

$150 is a really nice gift. If its too much for you then you dont have to but i dont think its too much in general.
My nephew just graduated and we gave him $100.

I just gave $100 to my nephew. I thought that was plenty (obviously). I think $150 is very generous

We did $100 for our nephew who is also DH godson. We are expecting a baby in September and it's one of 4 graduations this month so we couldn't really do any more.

I think $150 is perfect. We just gave $100 to our niece for graduating elementary school- she's our only niece & kind of has a sad childhood story.

Two of my nieces graduated a few weeks ago.
We gave each $100.
Both of my SIL's called to say thanks but we gave too much. They don't live on LI, one in WI and one in MA. We plan on giving all of them $100.

Thank god you posted this bc I had the same exact question for my niece!!! I keep asking myself $100 or $150 and couldn't decide. Mind is finally made up so thank you again for posting this!!
