Graco pack n plays

The pack n play I like comes with a canopy, but doesn't seem to include a mobile (according to the Web site). Others that have the mobile don't look like they include the canopy.

Anyone know if they don't come with a mobile if you can purchase and attach a separate mobile or toy bar to the pack n play? I'm a bit surprised that if you can use it as a bassinet that it wouldn't come with a mobile/toy bar feature, thought those were important for babies?

Re: Graco pack n plays

I'm looking at the one in Samuel or G-galore. Samuel looks from the picture like it has the canopy and G-galore looks like it has the mobile.

I hope they come with both.

The mobile is a piece of crap and I wouldn't make my decison based on that.

AS much as I thought I would, we wound up never using the canopy or the mobile.

I have that one too. We just put it together this weekend and I was asking DH if we could take the canopy off! Chat Icon I didn't think it was all that necessary.

Re: Graco pack n plays

We opted for a very basic pnp by graco - I don't think the baby will be in it all that often where it needs all the "frills"

Here is the one we registered for:

My PNP came with a mobile, but not a canopy. I honestly don't know why you would need a canopy unless you were outside. They make all kinds of clip on toys that you can get if it doesn't come with a mobile.

We got the same one too and I don't know if we're going to end up using the canopy at all, but it looks cute

I have one with a mobile and a canopy and it is a totally waste for me. I could see that they might be a nice feature if you use the bassinet every night but the canopy is really only useful if you take the pnp outside. I did find having a changing table that folds back to be very helpful.

Re: Graco pack n plays

I have the Milan and we never use the canopy and the moblie is totally NOT stimulating and we hardly use that one too. If I had to do it over again, I would get a more simple (aka cheaper) one with just a changing table.

I like the canopy since baby will arrive in the spring and it'll be good for when we're out back. I wasn't sure the one with the mobile was necessary.

The hanging toys/mobile are a waste. I did like having the canapy because my living room is sunny and it shaded her while she was sleeping.

I received the fancy Laura Ashley one but returned it for the second one in this post (the pink one) It was much cheaper and I used the $ to buy other things.

The mobile is useless to me because it doesn't move. I'd look into the wind up attachment so it moves on it's own but I do love it!

This is the one I'm talking about - it's in Samuel. I thought the canopy feature may deter my cats. But I also registered for a pnp tent as well as a crib tent.

Does this look "gender neutral"? Whenever I see aqua in a pattern I think - boy.
