The Nautilus is FF only, and I'd still want my 2 year old RFing. For that reason, the Marathon would get my vote.

I have the Nautilus and don't recommend it. The buckles are VERY hard to attach! So hard that I want to go buy new carseats and throw these in the garbage! (I bought 1 for each car)! It makes me dread having to put DD into the car every day.

I actually have 2 nautilus' for my older kids, so I totally get what you are saying. I can't stand them either...though after having them for almost 2 years, the buckle does get easier (or we are used to it). I am going to move the baby into a convertible, and not sure if I should give my 2 yr old his oldest brother nautilus (he just need a regular bhigh back booster)

I feel the same way about the Nautilus. DH loves it. I cant stand it.
I have a britax and a first years. I LOVE the first years one. you can rethread the straps without taking the seat out. You can also wash the car seat cover without taking the seat out. Has a cup holder. When my I go down to 1 car seat, Im keeping the first years & ditching the other one.
It goes up to 55 pounds front facing .
first year

I was going to complain about the buckle too - I have the Argos (I didn't love it but, DH said it was fine and got one for each car and now I have to listen to him constantly complain!) We moved DS in there a little bit before 3.
It's a safe seat, and since you have it already I would choose that (unless you are contemplating keeping DS rear facing longer than 2).

Did you just buy them recently? I never had trouble with the infant carrier, or the convertible, but with these I did...I wonder if they fixed the buckle problem.
