Re: Gowns

I would wait until mid to late August and get something with an empire waste.

Re: Gowns

How far along will you be then? The only problem with buying something in just a bigger size, is that if you are showing by then, it will look weird on you. It will not fit properly. You are probably better off buying a maternity dress.

I know.... I am sorry

Re: Gowns

during 19 weeks.. i still wanted to buy something that wasn't maternity or empire.. Especially that loose shirts are in style now.

Well.. I bought one from bebes.. red. And.. I looked like a big fat tomato!!!Chat Icon It looked terrible because it was loose on top and tight JUST around my stomach (and I carry high). Quickly had to change into something empire.. so at least i just look PG not round!

So.. unfortunately you can try the loose fitting things, but by sept.. it will look funny with your belly sticking out while the rest of your body is loosely fit - like mine was. But.. good luck!

Re: Gowns

I think you should wait until a week or two before to buy anything, but YOU in particular can probably work something just a size or two larger than you normally are. I bet your belly is still teeny tiny. It won't hurt to look now but you have no clue how much you'll grow between now and then.

My belly is getting bigger every week, but not enough for people to give me a seat on the train. Dammit!
