Gotta stop answering my phone...
Getting too many cancellations for tomorrows 1 year bday party for Brayden. We have soooo much food, drinks, desserts, etc. I think in the last few hours about 12 pole canceled.
It is what it is, but still stinks. Oh well... More food for the rest of the party and no worries about what we will have for dinner for w few nights. Lol
On a side note... Still annoyed about e 1 yr shots. I posted a few days ago about venting about the photographer. Now I was told Id have the cd and a few prints last week. It is Friday and still no prints. She said she did 2 day priority monday and now said she doesn't think it will come. We have no 1 year pics to put out from our prof photo shoot. I hope she can figure something out b.c she said she's working on it and will get back to me. Ugh!
What a day?!

Awe.. No worries about you. I totally understand. Especially with her being so sick and how contagious it is. Just a few more calls and then our neighbor said he's going to visit his sister in the hospital. She's fine, but some small surgery so he can't come. He said he figured since he didn't have anything to do this weekend and the kids are away at sleep away camp that Saturday is a good day to go. Uh... You said yes a few weeks ago and you did have plans. Just weird the way he came over to drop off the gift and said he cant come b.c of his sister, but she's fine. Weird! We are very friendly, but not good friends. Even said its in n jersey and not far.

 What a bummer!!
Last year I had a lot of cancellations before DS's 3rd birthday party. It was so weird.
I hope the photographer works something out for you guys, or in the least gives you some money back for the inconvenience.

Why is everyone cancelling? The heat??
Tell them to buy a water spritz fan to bring with them and suck it up! I went to a party in the heat last week in a church basement with no a/c. It wasn't pleasant, but what are ya gonna do?? You don't CANCEL because of it!!

Most valid excuses. Sick.
DH's uncle had something with work, another friend with work.
Only weird one was our neighbor. We are friendly, but don't have any of the same friends. We just always invite each other and always talking outside. Their kids are older and in camp. They treat it like a... We'll stop by unless something else comes along.
