Got the Opera Tix!!!
I'm so excited! I'm surprising my mom for her birthday with opera tickets at the Met! I just got off the phone with the ticket office, and I bought two tickets (side parterre - unobstructed view) to see IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA on Feb. 2.
Since I won't have the actual tix on her bday (1/23), I'm going to get her the cd for the performance and tape a note to the back saying she'll be going.
She's going to be so surprised!!!  yay!
Thanks for all of your help on the earlier thread I posted!
