Got My UltraScreen Results
The nurse just left a message that everything is completely normal. Do I call for numbers or just except that answer??
Thanks

Re: Got My UltraScreen Results
As long as everything is ok, I would ask for the numbers (if you want them) at your next appointment. Congrats!!

Re: Got My UltraScreen Results
I didn't get the numbers either -- the nurse just said everything is normal.
I may ask for them at my next appointment, but I'm not worried...just curious.

Re: Got My UltraScreen Results
As long as everything is normal, I wouldn't bother calling to get exact numbers.
Glad everything is going well!

Re: Got My UltraScreen Results
I wouldn't bother. Even though you know it's normal if you hear the numbers you will panic yourself thinking are the numbers really, really normal, just barely normal, why aren't they higher than normal. You can drive yourself nuts. Just be happy they are normal.

Re: Got My UltraScreen Results
Mine were normal for my age (37 - 38 at time of delivery) but by many people's standards, they would have sent most into a tizzy. Even the doctor who ran the Ultrascreen (who is a high risk doc) said I was fine and i am not high risk.
Trust that if there were a reason to be alarmed, they would tell you and guide you on a path that would best suit you and your baby. That is why they run the tests in the first place. I think the numbers scare people moreso than the word "normal" comforts them. JMO.
