Got my protocol and a possibly silly question?

So, I got my protocol from the RE on Tuesday. We are jumping right into our first IVF cycle. Once I get AF this month (hopefully next week) I will be on BCP for 21 days then start stimming. They are starting me on the Gonal F/Repronex combo and taking Dexamethesone pill at night. Add Ganerelix towards the end. We took our injection class and I think we are ready to go.

Question - if you have an event - let's say a wedding or a party one night during your stimming days - what do you do?? Do you pre-mix the syringe and bring it with you and just inject at the right time? Do you attempt to mix everything while you are out? Or do you just skip events during that time? I know this is probably a stupid question, but I'm just curious.

Also, the new LIIVF office is really really nice! I can't believe our time is about to start. I feel like I forgot the entire injection lesson already!! DH says he remembers. Yikes!!

Just wanted to wish you good luck. I actually didn't have any events during my stimming for IVF. People who need insulin take it with them and don't have a problems at an events. Put it in a bag and take it with you. (that is if you suspect it will be more than an hour or so later than normal). Knowing that you have this event ahead of time, maybe you can time your injections when you start to be later. Don't they usually say between 9-11pm. Your going to have a baby soon, you shouldn't be out late anyway. You need to get used to it....LOL...just kidding.

I'm not sure about the meds but wanted to wish you good luck!!! I was just there this week too and loved the office!!!
