Got my GAP preg jeans - what should I do about the size?

I tried on the GAP long-n-lean maternity jeans in the store and they didn't have my size (4-long). The 4-short seemed to fit fine, just too short.... so I went home and ordered the longer ones online.

Just got them today and they are really roomy in the butt and upper thigh area. I am 16.5 weeks and have only gained in the belly area so far. The jeans have stretch to them so it looks a bit funny that they are baggy in the back.

Should I return for a size smaller, or keep these in case my azz decides to get fatter at some point?? Not sure what to do.

I wear a 2 in Gap and I have the same thing - too much room in the butt/thigh area. Unfortunately, I don't think they are going to fit any better than that so I kept mine. The extra room feels comfy and I'll probably be glad to have that later on in my pregnancy.

I find with GAP and Old Navy, that a few washes does the trick especially if they stretch. So I'd keep them.

I never had a real butte, but while pregnant I developed a nicely round one and when I bough my GAP jeans I was 20 weeks and wore them through the end . Here are two pictuers. THe first is at 20 weeks and the second is at 36 weeks. What you cant see is that in the 20 week pic the band sat higher. I would maybe try on a different style all together.
