Got milk?????????
when did you start giving your DC milk? My Dr. said not until 1 year but my friends started earlier. I would like to start soon. Bella is 9 1/2 months.

Not until 11 months and even then it was still just a little bit mixed with ehr formula.

I started giving a little milk in a cup around 10 months in addition to formula...
@ about 10.5-11 months I started weaning....( week1- 1 oz milk mixed with 7oz formula
week 2- 2 oz milk mixed with 6 oz formula
etc... for 8 weeks)
He was fully on milk about a week or so before his 1st b-day...

11 months. I was BF him still and started to wean and introduce milk. By 1 year, he was already on whole milk.

10 mos. The ped told me to replace one bottle each day with regular milk. He was transitioned in 4 days and had no problems.
