When my husband saw it he basically left the room. What sucks is we told them our budget and they said they could be Alure's price. So they wasted our time and theirs.

go to southbay kitchens and baths.... its my family. ask for jutin; he my cousin. my family has been in the business for over 30 years. they are in massapequa on merrick road just east of unqua road. number is 516-809-7434. tell him michelle sent u. they will take care of u  and do beautiful work. they just got done doing my house!

WHAT?
for how many feet of cabinets?
you're best bet is to get a gen'l contractor and then shop for the individual components of the kitchen yourself..
that's what my dad recommends to our clients.
get cabinets, counter services, etc and negotiate them all as you'll get a better price. If you do an all-in-one like Allure they tack on $$$ to every aspect of your kitchen.
With the way the economy STILL is there is no reason why you can't get GREAT deals out there.

i have a great contractor...he did my kitchen for about $8000...supplies were about $22,000

Where you unhappy with the work from the guy who did your bathroom?
I would use him if I were you. If you liked him or course. He is so much cheaper.

I have a great source that is wonderful quality and decently priced. I also have a great installer. I used both for my newly renovated home and the results are outstanding.
