Got a scare...
Peanut gave us a little scare last night! I started bleeding!! I called the OB and he said to come in for a sono first thing this morning! (And you all know I was at the doctors when the doors opend at 8AM) I bleed a little more this morning, but the baby looked perfect!! Thank god! I was going to post last night to ask for prayers...but I was just too upset! You know how we always say that we go constantly to the bathroom and look for blood...well, there it was!!!!! But, we got to hear the heartbeat and that made me feel so much better! Then the lab tech told me that if you hear a good heartbeat that you have a 95% chance of no miscarriage! That made me feel a lot better!! Just wanted to share with my biggest support group!!

I am glad that you heard the heartbeat - that is such a good feeling. I bled twice in the beginning and know what a scary feeling it is. However, I found that it is more common that I thought. Good luck!

Thanks everyone!!! The doc just said that it happens and that it's okay! As long as you have a strong heartbeat than the baby is fine! They said to take it easy the next few days!

OMG! Kelly- This happened to me Fri evening too! Except I'm in LI and I called my OB in boston. It was just spotting though and she said it was a result of probably the internal sono (or intercourse ) and not to worry.
ALthough, we DO have to go in for another sono this week because the radiologist wants to make sure the heartbeat is above 100 as it was only 98 last week..
Lots of prayers to you and the peanut!! Glad you heard the heartbeat and everything is perfect!
