Got a great gift on Saturday!
My grandmother passed away in September, we were close and it is very sad for all of us that she is gone now.
Her house was put up for sale and the closing is to happen any day now. My mom (who always did all my grandmothers gardening) went over to the house to get a few clippings from the beautiful rose bushes and a few other plants for sentimental reasons. Well, my mom called me on Saturday that she was stopping by, she came and planted a gorgeous peonies plant that she took from my grandmothers house that was my grandmothers mothers originally.
Im so excited about it. It has 4 buds ready to pop, I just hope it makes the transfer!! Should I do anything special to make sure it makes it?

what a great gift. what a great way to remember your grandma. sorry i don't know anything about that plant. maybe ask at a nursery.
