goldfish
animal crackers
bath squirter
sidewalk chalk
I forget what you call them but those large balloons with rubber band attached.

I did for the past few birthdays:
juice box
bag of fruit snacks
bag of goldfish
bag of mini oreos
bag of teddy grahams
I can't stand goodie bag "junk" and I try and do something that I know the kids will eat and will not add to clutter! I get everything in bulk and know if I have leftover it won't go to waste.
