Good Weekend Trip Suggestions
DH and I would like to take a weekend trip someplace local this summer with DS (he's 7 months now). We're thinking later in August or in September, a place within a 3 hour drive or so.
Any suggestions? We both love the beach, but our one attempt to take DS to the beach was not good. He hated it. I was thinking possibly Mystic, CT, but would love other ideas.

New Hope,Pa ... Lancaster (Dutch Wonderland) ... Ocean City , MD (thats a bit farther than 3 hrs) Providence, RI ...
Montauk...
at this point your baby is so young, you can do something that is more fun for you & DH,,,you will have many years ahead to do all those kiddie-trips, like hershey and sesame place- have fun!

Hmmm, I forgot about New Hope, that might be good. Boston or Salem also--DH has never been there.
I think the beach is out as much as we would love it, but DS seems to like going into NYC, so I think ciities would work.
