Good "We love you" books
With the arrival of baby number 2 right around the corner, I wanted to get my son a book that we can read at night, just to remind him that no matter what we will always love him. He's only 16 months, so really its probably more for us than him, but I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks!!!

One that comes to mind is "On the night you were born" - I read that to DS and automatically well up with tears!
I'll keep thinking!
Oh - there's another book that my aunt loves "I'll love you forever" I believe it's called!

Guess how much I love you is a classic...
I found that books about being the big brother (in my case it was the big sister) really, really helped. They always talked about how a parents' love for their first born doesn't change.

I love reading "You are my I love you" to my son...makes me cry every time.
Is this the one that says you are my christmas, I am your ______, then something like you are my hot chocolate, I am you marshmellow (or something along those lines---does it mention christmas?)

That is the second book they have "You are my miracle" - love that too!
But "You are my I love you" goes "I am your parent, you are my child..."

I love "You are All My Favorites" by Sam McBratney. It's about 3 bear cubs and why each is unique and special to their parents. Very cute

Read this while I was pg with Ryan and while I nursed him when he was younger (now he tries to rip it apart so we'll revisit that a little later  )
But I pretty much know the book by heart so I recite it when I nurse him at night
I Promise I'll Find You is an awesome book too by Patricia Ward
And a lot of the Marianne Richmond books are so sentimental - You are My Wish Come True is great
