Good price for hi-hats and fan
We got an estimate for 4 hi-hats, 15 amp circuit to switch box and install new ceiling fan, $750 (this is on a high ceiling). Is this a good price? We also have Cross Electric coming on Thursday for an estimate.
TIA

Re: Good price for hi-hats and fan
My GC told me his electrician charges $90 per high-hat. Not sure if that included the circuit as well, since it was a big project, with a lot of circuits installed. But, the hi-hats alone account for about $350-$400 of the total cost.
Is he running new wires for the ceiling fan, or just replacing an existing one?

He will be running all new wires and putting a switch in for the lights and fan. He is going to run the wires up from the basement and hope he can get a wire through the ceiling if there is room (not attic on top of living room).

Re: Good price for hi-hats and fan
I think I paid $100/high hate and $50 to install each fan.
I was just replacing the high hat because I had the really ugly 80's ones.
