Can anyone rec'd a good place for DH and I to get breakfast tomorrow morning? No diners please... we're trying to get away from that.

We're in Sayville if that helps! Chat Icon

Thanks for the suggestion...

I actually worked there during HS & college summers. The place grosses me out!

I love Maureens...but it's such a long drive now...we like Rainbow Cafe cuz it's right around the corner and almost (not quite) as good, plus there is no wait and we know them well now. We even get to keep our own coffee cups there!!Chat Icon

TASTE - on Montauk headed towards West Sayville. Used to be Georges, then it was a BBQ place for a short while. Good breakfasts and lunches - haven't tried dinner yet.

Glens Dinette in Babylon Village. So good.

Also, if you're willing to do brunch, Captain Bill's does an EXCELLENT brunch.

Also, there is a little cafe in Bellport Village called Sugar Loaf. It's just East of Station Road on South Country Road.

Oh, it's SOOOOOO good!

I love milk and sugar... I just wish they weren't so busy these days.

I remember when they first opened up and you could just walk in there and get a seat.

Good times.

But still, the food there is delish!

Really???

I've never had breakfast there but have had dinner and lunch, both were always so good, so I natuarally figured breakfast would be too.

Wow, I'm really surprised.

Yup...the lunch was pretty good - but the brunch was
Premade eclairs/donuts/muffins
Frozen sausages/bacon

the only thing that was fresh was the eggs....

we weren't happy at all.

Cafe Joelle in Sayville. I'm pretty sure I've been there for Sunday Brunch; I go for dinner on a regular basis, but it's been a long time since I've been for brunch.
