Golf lovers come in....
I want to get my dad a gift certificate for a round of golf at a great course. Any suggestions on the east end?
Is Shinnecock a private course?

Shinnecock is not a private course, other courses that are great are Links at Shirley, Calverton area

My DH loves to play at Bethpage. The Black course is tough but it's the course that the pros played at the Open in 2002 and will play in 2009.
