Going to the bathroom

MY 4 yr old DS can go for a long time without having to pee. Is this normal? He's fine and drinks a lot. I just find it funny that he can do his last bathroom at night before bed around 7ish and then doesn't go sometimes till 10AM and sometimes later. When he goes it's a lot and he never has accidents.

Also, when he has to do #2 he doesn't go everyday. Sometimes it will be a few days in a row then he will go a few days not going and will hold his front when he really has to do #2.

I give him lots of fluids between milk or almond milk in the AM and usually water, milk or watered down apple juice throughout the day. Also, some prune juice if it's been a few days that he hasn't done #2.
He's perfectly healthy too. Sound like anyone else?

Re: Going to the bathroom

DD (5) hardly ever pees. She can pee once and not go for HOURS. I have to remind her to at least try. She drinks a lot of milk and water too throughout the day but I guess she just has a strong, BIG bladder. lol

Regarding #2, she usually goes at least once a day but never longer than every other day.

ETA - She's been this way since she was potty trained at age 3.

Normal. Dd can hold it for 18 hours. It's a control thing kids do.

My 4 year old is the same way - he usually goes to the potty for the last time at night around 7ish (or sometimes earlier) and doesn't need to go until he's up for awhile in the morning. He drinks a ton of water each day as well.

Yup dd can go for a very long time and she rarely rushes to the bathroom when she does go.
