Going to Columbia today
I am going with my mom to Columbia's Prenatal Pediatric department to see if they can give us a more accurate picture of what they think I can expect with Kaitlyn. Keep your fingers crossed that they think there is nothing or that it is an isolated problem (if there has to be one). It is an all day deal - with ultrasounds, fetal echo, counseling etc.

Is this Columbia-Presbyterian? From about ages 2-18 maybe, I traveled from upstate to Columbia-Presbyterian every year for monitoring of a heart condition I was born with. It was just routine annual exams, thankfully never any surgery or anything, but they were THE BEST! We loved them. I know my doctor has retired, but everyone there was always soooo great to us, and they were so highly regarded, I know that. I only stopped going there because it was a pediatric cardiologist, and I aged out! Now I just see a regular local cardiologist.
You'll be in great hands!

lots of luck!
I've had to go thru the process of doing things at columbia. to be honest i'm greatful I did... they made me realize things were better then i thought, put my mind at ease, and were definetly very educated in matters that were discussed...
