Going through a tough time with my son..looking for advice (also re: teething!)

So I thought teething hell was over. Apparently not.

His 2 year molars are popping through. This has meant sleepless nights, up every hour (some nights its been like this, other nights not..).

We've done motrin, it hasn't helped. I don't think its anything else but not sure (no fever).

Did anyone go through terrible teething when the 2 years came through?? I feel like this will never end.

Also...he has been swatting/hitting me a lot lately. I've tried a time out, but he screams and gets so mad. I don't think he MEANS to hit, he is just frustrated b/c he can't vocalize what he wants. His communication is slooooowly improving but not great.

Ugh..sorry, just frustrated, exhausted and ready for this to end.

Any advice?

i'm sorry...i am only at 9 months w/ DD so i can't offer great advice but just want to offer and say that i am sure that this is going to pass like so many other things. the teething as horrible as it is will END just hang in there.
the swatting is something i think you are going to have to be consistent about so he learns that it is not acceptable. that must be very hard but you will weather through this!
