Going for my 10 week checkup! UPDATE!
Wish me luck that everything goes well, I think we may hear the baby's heartbeat too!!!
I think that will really solidify the fact that this is real........
ETA
All went well, we even heard the heartbeat!!!
Now we just have to decide ASAP about the ultrascreen....

Glad to hear that all went well....If for nothing else the Ultrascreen is a chance to have another chance of seeing the baby!!! Its non invasive...essentially I learned the sex of my baby at mine too...although this is rare.

Oh, please, this has been a thorn in my side for 2 weeks now....
It's an ultrasound done at 11-12 weeks to test for Down's Syndrome.
Every doctor is different, but mine didn't even mention it to me, and then I read about it in my book and DH wants it, so we're getting it.
Some doctors do it automatically, some only when there's increased risk.
